Pastor Larry Rolston
Pastor Rolston has been married to his wife, Judy since 1973. He graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist College in 1975 with a Bachelors of Religious Education. He then went on to complete seminary training at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, obtaining his Masters of Divinity in 1980.
He served as a Senior Pastor at Dover Baptist Church of Bristol for 11 years. The Rolston family moved to Coral, Michigan in 1991 when Pastor Rolston began his role as Senior Pastor for Cowden Lake Bible Church. For many years, Pastor Rolston also served as administrator and teacher for Cowden Lake Bible Academy.
By God's grace, Pastor Rolston is most concerned with maintaining faithfulness to God and His Word in his preaching and his life. He claims Matthew 6:33 as his life verse, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." His preaching style is expository (conveying the meaning of the text in it's historical and gramatical context). Visiting with people is one of Pastor's favorite activities. He finds few joys greater than seeing someone repent of their sins and trust alone in the redemptive work of Christ.
Pastor Rolston and his wife Judy have been blessed with two children in full time ministry. Their son Brian has been serving as a pastor since 2002 and is currently a senior pastor at Peters Creek in Chugiak, Alaska. Their daughter, Nancy and her family are serving with New Tribes Mission in Guinea, West Africa.
